Discover the rich history of Mt. Haruna, one of the 3 Great Peaks of the Jomo Region. Centuries ago, volcanic ash from the eruption of Mt. Haruna settled in Takasaki City's Jumonji area, creating fertile soil. This historical treasure has become a community asset, as the soft and well irrigated soil is perfect for growing exceptional vegetables.
Participants will enjoy harvesting their own Jumonji vegetables, taking a leisurely stroll around Lake Haruna which was formed centuries ago by volcanic activity, and riding the ropeway from the lakeside to the summit for a spectacular view. Participants will also have the opportunity to see the unique Haruna Shrine!
